A new form of synchronization for medicineRecent analysis of Go-NoGo firing data has shown that the interacting triad of organ networks (ONs), consisting of the scaled time series from the heart, lungs and brain are synchronized. The synchrony is of a form not previously encountered and involves the scaling indices of the triad of ON's time series, having the form of matched quasi-periodic scaling in time. This new synchrony implies a resonance among the complexity of the 3 ONs, thereby insuring maximal information exchange among the three ONs. These findings suggest new strategies for rehabilitation and life support systems.
